pewag forestry tracks for optimised grip and maximum soil protection

pewag forestry tracks provide reliable grip on all subsoils and protect the environment thanks to minimal soil impact.

In rough terrain, reliability and stability are decisive factors for safe, efficient processes. pewag forestry tracks ensure optimised traction in all terrains as well as improved wear resistance and lasting soil protection.

To offer customers the right solutions for all applications and requirements, the pewag range consists of duo as well as of mono tracks.

bluetrack tuning: new stubs and improved side support

NEW: bluetracks now with 2 different stub designs

In addition to the starwave® stubs, pewag has developed so-called scale stubs that are now also available as configuration options for all tracks. These scale stubs have a more aggressive grip and aid traction during heavy-duty forestry applications.
We have taken the starwave® stubs one step further and made them even more robust and resistant. The stubs are now larger and have a greater wear volume, thereby increasing the lifespan of the track. In addition, the robot-based welding technology has a positive influence on the durability of the track.

NEW: bluetracks now with improved side support for more protection and stability on the tire

As of now, all pewag bluetracks come with an optimised side support, offering the following benefits:

  • Less damaging for the tire - thanks to its rounded edges, the side support is particularly gentle on the tire, reducing the risk of tire damage.
  • Improved stability on the tire – the new side support geometry stabilises the track on the tire and stops it from sliding off.

bluetrack advantages

Superb traction and stability
Thanks to the innovative pewag starwave® profile and the asymmetrical positioning of the stubs, traction is considerably improved. Independent of the characteristics of the terrain, the asymmetrically arranged stubs make for reliable grip. In addition, the individual cross member profiles improve stability on all subsoils and increase cross-country mobility even if the machine is overloaded.
The pewag bluetrack standard is two weld-on stubs on each cross member. Customized options with more, fewer or no stubs are available upon request.

Improved wear resistance and longer lifespan
All pewag bluetrack forestry tracks come with the tried-and-tested starwave® profile stubs. Thanks to the grooves in the starwave® profile, the stubs have a large surface and therefore take longer to wear out. High-quality forged parts such as connecting links, stubs and locks ensure a long lifespan. In addition, stubs, C-links and connecting links are specially case-hardened for even better wear resistance. pewag uses high-grade materials that are forged, hardened, welded, and pressed into shape based on stringent quality controls.

Highly cost effective
The optimised fit of the tracks ensures perfect traction and prevents the tires from slipping through the track. This reduces fuel and energy consumption and improves machine efficiency.

Optimal tire protection
The wide, galvanized cross members protect the tires of the forestry machine against stones and tree stumps.  The innovative side support also protects the tire flanks and prevents the tracks from sliding off the tires.

Good soil protection
Thanks to the wide profile design, the risk of machines sinking into soft subsoil is minimised, thereby protecting the soil and reducing damage to the forest floor and its roots.
